Rabbi Jeffrey K. Salkin is the rabbi for Temple Israel. A native of New York, Rabbi Salkin was ordained at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York in 1981. He was one of the first Jews to receive the Doctor of Ministry degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1991. Rabbi Salkin is a noted author whose essays have appeared in numerous popular and scholarly journals. He is also the author of numerous books on spirituality, published by Jewish Lights Publishing
